Scarves!

I like scarves... they seem comfy!

Now I have never officially had one before, mainly because I live in a place where it doesn't so much get cold, so it never occurred to me to get one.

Well, this year seems to be extra cold, so I have requested one. My mom, who is a knitter, has begun to make one for me, and I am happy to say that I am very excited!

I don't know why, but I have always wanted to own one, and to be able to wear it about. Just something about me I guess.

Anyhow, as far as I know, not only am I getting this scarf, but I am also getting some mittens, and a hat.

Talk about giddy huh?

Anyhow,

I'm tired today, and pretty blah. The sort of mood where something seems to be wrong but you just don't know what. You know what that is? Yeah, well anyhow, I'm going to cut this a little short.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

First Post!

So I will not waste it by talking about how this is my first post =D

Anyhow.

So I will be starting a blog, and hopefully posting at the least three times a week. We'll see how that one goes over... it mainly depends on how much motive I have to do this.

I feel pretty motivated now, but let's see what happens a few days down the road.

Anyhow!

On to what to talk about today, which I decided just now actually, as I was in the middle of typing this sentence!

Epic Music.

This can mean a lot to many different people, but to me, considering I am an artist, it's something that paints an interesting scene in my head. Not necessarily always static or always moving, but oftentimes a mixture of the two.

Now I don't really want to be pointed toward the old video game fight music from Megaman or something. Granted that is epic in a sense, but that's not what I'm looking for.

I'm looking into more adventurous stuff, the stuff that gives you many different emotions at once and can only be described in one word:

Epic!

Currently I quite like a lot of the Immediate Music and E.S. Posthumus' stuff. Mainly because they are heard when you are watching a trailer; the phrase "the trailer was better than the movie" comes to mind here.

(On a quick side note: my theory on the reasoning for this is that they put the best bits of a movie into a trailer and then set it to epic music in a creative fashion. They oftentimes fail to put in the less-than-best parts that happen all the rest of the time in there, to give us an entire feel for the movie. Now I'm not saying this happens all the time, but this seems to be the case when the phrase I mentioned earlier rings true.)

Anyhow.

Back on topic here.

Epic music, what is it exactly? Well as I mentioned earlier the music that when I listen to I tend to have interesting scenes from a movie or whatnot pop up in my head, normally of an action-like genre. Many of the times, I tend to make the scenes up myself as I am listening to the music, using my own written characters and whatnot just for fun.

Now...

Not that I'm expecting any followers as it stands, but if anyone later on down the road happens to move back and check out what my earlier posts were, I pose these questions!

What is your idea of an epic musical piece? Could be a composure, rock ballad or whatever, doesn't matter.

If you understand what I'm talking about in my sense of an epic musical piece, then do you have any suggestions?

Now that concludes my Blog here.

Post Script! (It's what PS stands for...)

I hope many of you have made the connection between the few little tidbits I left in the blog name, and the site address.

If you have, then maybe you want to put a comment on this and help some people along?

In any case...

Here concludes my very first blog post. Hope it wasn't a total bust and see you guys on Tuesday!

*Insert witty goodbye phrase here*
